Hand Pallet Truck
The pallet jack every warehouse runs on — heavy steel, factory pricing · Manual pallet jacks up to 5 t
A hand pallet truck — most buyers just say pallet jack — is still the cheapest way to move a loaded pallet across a flat floor, and we build them in volume at our Shandong plant. The line runs from standard-duty warehouse units up to a 5,000 kg heavy-duty frame, plus a pallet truck with a built-in weighing scale. Forks are press-formed steel, the pump is a sealed one-piece unit with a chrome-plated piston, and wheels come in polyurethane or nylon to suit your floor. Trucks ship stacked and shrink-wrapped on wood bases, hundreds to a container.

Key features
- Capacities up to 5,000 kg — the 5 t unit carries its rating on the chassis label, not just the brochure
- Sealed hydraulic pump with chrome-plated piston rod; lift, neutral and lower on one hand lever
- Tandem polyurethane load rollers cross dock plates and floor joints without digging in
- Steer wheels in nylon or PU — quiet on concrete, no black marks on finished floors
- Scale version with integrated weighing indicator: weigh the pallet while you move it
- Powder coat in yellow, blue, green or red; OEM colors and decals accepted
- Container loading on wood bases — the shipment photo in the gallery is a real customer order
Where it works
Pallet jack vs pallet truck: same machine, two names
Pallet jack is the North American name, pallet truck the British one; put hand, manual or hydraulic in front and you are still looking at the same machine. So when one catalog quotes a manual pallet jack and another a hand pallet truck, compare the steel, not the wording — fork gauge, pump build and roller quality are what separate a three-year truck from a ten-year one.
Ours is the plain version of the tool. No electronics unless you order the scale unit, nothing to charge, one short grease schedule. For a buyer stocking a warehouse or reselling through a dealer network, that simplicity is the point: the spare-parts list is a seal kit and a wheel set.
Sizing the right pallet jack for your pallets
Most orders leave with standard forks for 1,200 × 1,000 mm and Euro pallets, but fork length and spread are build options — including a narrow pallet jack for drum pallets and tight racking, or long forks for double-length loads. Tell us the pallet type, the load and the floor, and we lock the spec before production. That beats discovering a mismatch at your dock.
The 5,000 kg unit is a different animal from a standard truck: heavier fork section, upgraded pump and reinforced linkage for mold shops, steel service centers and other dense loads. If your pallets sit at 2 t or under, don't pay for the 5 t frame. If they don't, don't burn out a light one.
Need weights on record? The pallet jack with scale carries a weighing indicator on the pump housing, so goods-in can check a pallet against the packing list in one move instead of a second trip past the floor scale.
A manual truck moves pallets — a stacker lifts them
A hand pallet truck lifts a pallet just clear of the floor; it will never put one on a rack beam. When the job turns into stacking, the step up is our semi electric stacker for occasional lifts, or the CPDS electric stacker once lifting becomes hourly work — both are on this site with their own datasheets.
We export from Shandong with wood-base, shrink-wrapped container packing; the gallery shipment photo is an actual loaded 40 ft, not a render. Mixed containers with stackers and reach trucks are common, and the run from quotation to loading is usually shorter than buyers expect.
Common questions
What is the difference between a pallet jack and a pallet truck?
Nothing mechanical. Pallet jack is the common US term, pallet truck the UK one, and hand pallet truck or manual pallet jack describe the same hydraulic machine. The specs worth comparing are capacity, fork size, pump quality and wheel material rather than the name on the listing.
Do you make a narrow pallet jack for non-standard pallets?
Yes. Fork spread and length are build options, so narrow forks for drum pallets, long forks for oversize loads and other special builds are quoted the same way as standard trucks. Send the pallet drawing — or just its outside dimensions — and we confirm the fork set before production.
Can I get a pallet jack with scale for goods-in checks?
We build a scale version with a weighing indicator mounted on the pump housing; it is shown in the gallery. It weighs the pallet as you lift, replacing the detour to a floor scale. Accuracy class and printer options are confirmed per order.
How much does a hand pallet truck cost from the factory?
Price moves with capacity, fork size, wheel material and order volume, so we quote FOB per configuration rather than list one number. Container-quantity orders of standard-duty trucks are the cheapest per unit; the 5 t heavy-duty frame and scale versions price higher.
Can a high lift pallet jack replace a stacker?
Not really. A scissor-type high lift pallet jack is built for ergonomic work positioning, and it tops out far below racking height. If pallets must land on beams, a semi electric stacker or our CPDS walkie stacker is the honest answer — both pages list lift heights and capacities.
